How we can help

Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic Adjustments

Adjustments are the main technique that patients associate with Chiropractic care.  Adjustments are high velocity-low amplitude maneuvers that are used to help restore full range of motion and decrease pain in any potentially affected joints in the neck, midback, low back, hips, or extremities. These Adjustments are often associated with the characteristic ‘pop’ or ‘crack’ noise, Interestingly an adjustment doesn’t require the crack or pop to be effective.

Chiropractic Mobilisations

Chiropractic Mobilisations

Mobilisations are similar to adjustments as they can serve to increase range of motion, and decrease pain in the affected joints in the spine, or extremities.  They’re more rhythmic in nature when compared to  adjustments, and normally are multiple smaller, slower movements to help increase the range of motion and decrease pain progressively. Mobilisations are fantastic for anyone who is particularly sore, tight, or has conditions which may prevent adjustments from happening.

Low Force Techniques

Low Force Techniques

Low Force Techniques involve other various techniques designed to help to restore range of motion and decrease pain.  Normally these techniques are used in conjunction with adjusting, and mobilisations, or for patients who require extra gentle care.  These techniques include biomechanical blocking, table based drop piece, and activator.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy is done in conjunction for all patients to help maximise the increase in range of motion, and maximum the reduction in muscle tightness, and soreness. Most commonly we use trigger point therapy, gentle massage, stretching, Theragun/massage machine, and topical massage cream/ heat.
